Homicide investigation underway in St. Pete

ST PETERSBURG, Fla. — A 28-year-old man's death in St. Petersburg is now being investigated as a homicide.

On Thursday, in the 300 block of 15th Ave NE, Tyler Clingman, 28, was found dead on his apartment floor after his neighbors noticed his door was cracked open, according to the St. Pete Police Department.

"We are still collecting evidence and investigating to determine cause of death, so currently it is premature to rule out foul play," St Pete PD said in a press release.
