A man was arrested for DUI after rear-ending another car on New Year's Day, then fleeing the scene, Clearwater Police say.
Fermin Tepetate Martinez was arrested and taken to Pinellas County Jail.

The car he hit was actually a Clearwater Police car.
He faces three charges. "Not a good way to ring in the new year," the police department said on Twitter.
