A 44-year-old man was arrested after officials said he tried to sexually assault a woman on Thursday.
The arrest report says Clark Caplan Jr., 44, went to the victim's home around midnight on Thursday.
Caplan asked the victim for a place to stay and the victim agreed. Caplan was allowed to sleep on the living room floor while she went to her bedroom, the report says.
The victim then woke up with Caplan on top of her with both his hands around the victim's neck, the report says.
The victim also said Caplan was pulling her hair and attempted to sexually assault her.
Caplan was arrested and charged with sexual battery.
