ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — St. Pete Police are investigating a deadly accident that killed one person.
Police say around 8 p.m. an adult woman was hit by an Altima on 4th St. N near Lincoln Circle. She was later pronounced dead at Bayfront Health.
All lanes of 4th St northbound and southbound between 62nd Ave. North and Mystic Lake Dr. North are closed. They are expected to remain closed for several hours, according to police.
The driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating with investigators, police say.
