Foul play suspected in death of elderly woman in St. Pete mobile home

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A homicide investigation is underway after a 76-year-old woman was found dead in her St. Petersburg mobile home.

The St. Petersburg Police Department said they found Barbara Brylka dead in her mobile home at Pinewood Village Mobile Home Park on Sunday afternoon.

Investigators believe foul play was involved, and they continue to process the crime scene for evidence.

According to police, neighbors said they hadn't seen Brylka for a few days before they found her.

At this time, police are collecting evidence and attempting to determine the cause of death.
