Clearwater Police officers arrested a murder suspect wanted in connection with a shooting case in Philadelphia on Sunday.
Officers were alerted by the police communications center of a license tag reader hit that involved a vehicle owned by the suspect, Scott Gonzalez.
Officers were able to locate the vehicle on Clearwater Beach and initiate a traffic stop. Gonzalez's girlfriend was reportedly driving the car, and two minor children were also in the vehicle, police say.

He also was charged with providing a false name or identity to law enforcement.
