Clearwater Checkers employee arrested for using customers debit card information

CLEARWATER, Fla. — An employee at a Checkers in Clearwater was arrested Thursday for using and/or obtaining the debit card information for multiple customers, according to an arrest report.

Zena Issari, 18, used one customers card to make a $100 charge on CashApp while the victim was buying food on Thursday, the report shows.

The report states Issari used the card to make the fraudulent charge before making the regular charge on the Checker's register.

Video inside the Checkers shows Issari using her phone to get the information, according to the report.

After her arrest, Issari admitted to taking the card information for "someone else to use," according to the report.

Additional footage shows Issari getting the card information from other customers, according to the report. The identification of those victims is pending.

It's unclear from the report how many other people might be victims.

Issari was charged with fraudulent use of personal ID information.
