TAMPA, Fla. — Two Baycare hospitals in the Tampa Bay area are expanding by adding breast milk depot sites.
BayCare is partnering with Mothers' Milk Bank of Florida to offer hospital based breast milk donation sites.

Moms can now donate any extra milk to Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater and St. Joseph's Women's Hospital in Tampa.
Mothers will have to be screened by the Mothers' Milk Bank of Florida. Once they do that, they can take their donation to either of these hospitals.
"When we have those premature or more vulnerable infants its much easier on their digestive system," says Lactation Consultant Dawn Baltz.
Donation requirements:
- Excellent Health
- Non-smoker
- More milk than your baby needs
- Milk must be frozen less than 8 months
