A 28-year-old Pinellas County woman is accused of stealing $155,000 from her employer.

Averi Whiting, who also goes by the alias, Averi Smith, is now facing grand theft charges.

According to an arrest report, between August 2012 and October 2015, Whiting was employed by Maury Creech Electric as an office clerk.

Whiting managed the company's finances and had access to the company credit cards, deputies say.

Deputies say Whiting used company credit cards to purchase personal items and services.

She also made cash withdrawals from ATMs, deputies say.

The company owner said Whiting was never given permission to use the card for personal use.

Whiting is out on bond.
