Applications are now available for St. Pete Pier Ambassadors.
Incoming sophomores and juniors at St. Pete high schools can apply for the position now, as the pier is scheduled to open in spring of 2020.
The Pier Ambassador program will create a volunteer experience that will provide special opportunities for students, as well as a volunteer and communication corps to assist with Pier special events and activities. The inaugural group will include 20 sophomores and juniors attending a St. Petersburg high school.

The application deadline is October 1, 2019 and the inaugural group of ambassadors will be selected by November 1. Ambassadors will have a series of monthly training sessions with City administrators, the Pier architects, and the Pier team as well as a special access tour in February, 2020.
When the pier opens, the ambassadors will help answer questions, serve as guides and assist in other ways.
Applications are also available at St. Petersburg libraries and recreation centers.
