A Pinellas Park mom is accused of driving drunk and then crashing her car into a ditch. At the time, police say her child was in the backseat.
Rachel Kittinger-Rigney, 33, is charged with DUI and child neglect.
According to police, neighbors spotted Rigney driving erratically threw a neighborhood before she crashed into a ditch near 61st Street North and 70th Avenue North around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police say Rigney failed multiple field sobriety tests and her breathalyzer results were .2, almost three times the legal limit.
Rigney reportedly told police she "drank last night" and added "I'm drunk," an arrest affidavit states.
The child was not hurt.
