A 36-year-old Largo mother is accused of leaving her baby home alone for an hour in order to meet with her probation officer, police say.
Amy Waddington is now charged with child neglect and violating probation.
Police say on Friday, Waddington left her 5-month-old daughter in a crib without supervision or food while she went to a probation meeting in Clearwater.
Police were waiting for Waddington when she returned home, an arrest affidavit states.
Waddington was on parole for petit theft.
