CLEARWATER, Fla. — Four people were injured after a two-vehicle crash in Clearwater Sunday afternoon.

Clearwater police and Clearwater Fire and Rescue are on the scene of a crash with serious injuries on Court Street east of Lincoln Avenue.

The crash occurred when a Honda Civic that was driving westbound on Court Street collided with a Mazda SUV that was eastbound and making a U-turn.

Two people were in each of the vehicles and had to be extricated by firefighters. One of the vehicles flipped over as a result of the crash.

All four people were taken to Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg. Their injuries are not life threatening.
