2 men sent to hospital after hearing fire alarm and escaping mobile home fire in Largo

LARGO, Fla. — Two men were sent to the hospital after a mobile home fire in Largo Thursday Morning. 

Firefighters responded to Sugar Creek Mobile Home Park at 10265 Ulmerton Road in Largo after receiving a call shortly after 5:00 a.m. about a mobile home fire.

Two men were asleep when the mobile home caught fire, but made it out after hearing the fire alarm, according the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

Both men were transported to Tampa General Hospital. Their conditions have not been released.

At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown.
