Two 20-year-olds are dead after their motorcycle crashed Saturday night in Zephyrhills.
Shane Bowling, 24 of St. Petersburg, was driving a 2001 Suzuki on Fort King Road at 8:30 Saturday night, according to a Florida Highway Patrol crash report. He was traveling "at a high rate of speed."
Bowling's motorcycle overtook a 2013 Dodge that had turned on to Fort King Road, crashing into the vehicle and sending the driver and passenger flying.
Bowling was pronounced deceased at the scene. His passenger, Caitlyn Bradley, 20, was airlifted to St. Joseph's Hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.
