On Sunday night, deputies received a call at 11:26 p.m. that someone had fired multiple shots at a home in the 7300 block of Westcott Drive. One of the bullets entered the front bedroom where a 1-year-old girl was sleeping. The shots hit the little girl in the wrists.
The child was taken to the hospital for treatment. Deputies say the mother of the infant, later identified as Linda Exline, is a documented gang member.
