HUDSON, Fla. — A young mother is dead and her 3-month-old daughter is seriously injured following an accident in Pasco County.
Florida Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Mickaela Rodriguez died after the car she was in turned into the path of another vehicle. Her 3-month-old daughter, Bella, is at St. Joseph's Hospital being treated for serious injuries.
FHP says 19-year-old Ryan Kroboth, who was driving the vehicle, also suffered serious injuries. He iss currently being treated at Bayonet Point Hospital.
Kroboth turned left into the path of a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Jeffrey Harvey, FHP says. The front of the second vehicle hit the passenger side of the first, killing Rodriguez.
The passenger of the second vehicle sustained only minor injuries, the driver was uninjured.
