PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Pasco County announced on Tuesday its offering a Small Business PPE Reimbursement Program for at least 1,000 local businesses on a first-come, first-served basis.

The program will help to reimburse small businesses up to $1,000 for the cost of already-purchased Personal Protective Equipment. Funding for the program comes from CARES Act.

To qualify a business must be:

  • A for-profit, privately held small business that maintains a place of business in Pasco County established prior to March 1, 2020.
  • A small business with 2 to 50 employees.
  • A small business with the majority of its employees residing in Pasco County.

“Providing PPE for your staff and customers is an important step in helping prevent the spread of respiratory illness,” said Pasco County Emergency Management Director Andrew Fossa. “We appreciate our local businesses taking measures to proactively promote public health and wellness in our communities.”
