DADE CITY, Fla. — Pasco County Fire Rescue is on the scene of a serious crash with multiple patients being extricated on US-301 at State Road 575.
Three patients are trauma alerts and are being flown by medical helicopter to local hospitals. One patient is being taken by ground with minor injuries to a local area hospital.
US-301 is shut down at SR-575. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
FHP is investigating the cause of the crash but confirms that one person has died.
