HUDSON, Fla. -- Pasco County deputies report a man died while kayaking on Thursday evening.
A neighbor living along Frierson Lake Drive reported seeing an overturned kayak on Frierson Lakes around 7:30 p.m.
The Sheriff Office's Marine and Air Unit responded and began searching for anyone who may have been on the kayak.
Deputies located the body of a male in the water around 10:00 p.m. They later determined there was just one person on the kayak.
At this time authorities do not believe the death of the kayaker appears to be suspicious.
The identity of the deceased is not being released until the next of kin has been notified.
