“I could never imagine losing one of my children and I think that’s the closest I’ve come to it," said Tracy Hatfield.

Hatfield's daughter is an employee at the popular Gulf-side bar and restaurant. She came face to face with the armed intruder.

"Shoved the gun in her face again and told her that if she did anything else, he was going to kill her,” she said.

Hatfield tells ABC Action News that another employee was pistol whipped to the ground. One of the man kicked his face into concrete.

Owners of the bar shared a message on Facebook stating they would be closed Monday so employees can pick up the pieces.

“I’m scared for all involved until these guys are off the streets," said Hatfield.
