WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — Jim Bardwell calls his new team up with AdventHealth "an absolute miracle."

Bardwell is the inspiring force behind, which culls delicious fresh produce from more than 60 Florida and Georgia farms and both sells and donates food to local families and food pantries.

A year ago, Bardwell was out of work, a casualty of the pandemic. But instead of wallowing in misfortune, he decided to change lives.

He knew people were hungry and needed help. He knew some farms were having trouble moving all their fruit and vegetables. So he bridged the gap, and the success has been fast and impactful.

"In 2020, we were able to donate 44 tons of food," says Bardwell.

Recently, AdventHealth reached out to Jim about using their Wesley Chapel location as a distribution site. The healthcare giant will also promote on various social media platforms.

"It's a gift from God," says Bardwell. "That's all I can say."
