PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — One person was thrown overboard after a boat collided with a marker in Pasco County, officials say.

Pasco County Fire Rescue is on scene of the accident that happened in the Anclote River.
Pasco Fire Rescue initially said two boats collided, tossing one person overboard. It was later determined that there was no second boat, and that the boat struck a marker.
That person was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. He was identified as Todd Harold Davis, 55, of New Port Richey.
Florida Fish and Wildlife is on the scene investigating.
