NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. — As family activities continue to reopen, people want to know if the proper cleaning techniques are also being put in place.

All Ways Cleaning of Tampa Bay LLC is donating their own time to make sure businesses are doing it right.

“A lot of people are doing cleanings but they are cleaning for appearance verses cleaning for health and there is a huge difference,” said Sunny McWilliams, with All Ways Cleaning.

They have been choosing a different business every week and are offering to clean their establishment free of charge.

“The most important thing is utilizing the product correctly, so at that point we decided to start educating our community to make sure everybody has a safe reopening,” said McWilliams.

They chose Spin Nations in New Port Richey because of their close bond with children in the community. The roller rink lost an estimated $50,000 in revenue during the pandemic, but it was the loss of family fun that hurt the most.

“It was horrible, it was heartbreaking, you know when you have to call parents and tell them we can’t host your child’s birthday party and you have parents on the phone crying,” said owner Tiffany Balay.

All Ways Cleaning's goal is to teach the employees at these businesses the tricks of the trade.

“When they came in and offered their services to teach us and show us different things it was amazing. I was so happy to make sure we are trained and knowledgeable about how to disinfect and make sure our customers are safe at all times,” said Balay.

“It really makes us feel good to be able to know that your family as well as mine can walk into an establishment and know they have that proper routine down and they are doing the proper disinfection,” said Balay.
