Detectives with the Pasco County Sheriff's Office are investigating. They said it appears to be an accident.
According to authorities, the 3-year-old's babysitter left the toddler alone for a few seconds to go to the bathroom. Deputies said the child climbed onto a bed, leaned up against the window screen and fell out. Authorities said the window was open because it was a nice day.
Deputies said the toddler is okay and did not break a bone thanks to bushes that helped break the fall.
