Police arrested a Largo man for allegedly video recording a girl changing at a local clothing store.

Ian Ehrlich, 33, is charged with video voyeurism and tampering with physical evidence after an August incident at Plato's Closet on Ulmerton Road in Largo.

The investigative report states Ehrlich asked workers if he could try on clothes in a dressing room.

Once inside, officers say he placed his cell phone under the dressing room next to him, recording an underage girl undressing.

"It makes me feel uncomfortable going somewhere that doesn't have completely closed doors and expecting myself to be safe," said Anna Salmeron, a Plato's Closet customer. "It makes me feel uncomfortable going somewhere that doesn't have completely closed doors and expecting myself to be safe."

Police tell ABC Action News, the victim quickly noticed the phone recording her and immediately alerted store employees.

The owner at Plato's Closet says she is thankful her employees acted swiftly, helping police put Ehrlich in jail.

"I'm glad something was done about it because a lot of times it doesn't go seen or known," said Salmeron.

Ehrlich admitted to intentionally recording the victim without her knowledge or consent. Police say he tampered with evidence by deleting the recording before detectives arrived to make an arrest.
