A woman was found dead in a Clearwater apartment after police responded to a report of gunshots.
Clearwater Fire and Rescue and Clearwater Police responded to the Oakbrook Apartments on Nursery Road just after 3:30 a.m. on Friday.
Saniye Salahutdin, 22, was found dead inside of an apartment. Salahutdin lived in the apartment with her mother.
Police say the shooting does not appear to be random.
Detectives are on scene and they are conducting interviews.
The incident is under investigation as police search for the suspect.
