Clearwater Police are working to clean up a crash atop the Memorial Causeway Bridge.
According to police, a car slammed into a bus from Atkinson County, Georgia. No students were on board.
The bus had brought students to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
The bus driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries and an attendant on the bus was not injured.
The driver of the other car was flown to Bayfront Medical Center.
Crews opened one lane in each direction just before 6 p.m.
The Belleair Causeway is the best alternative route.
