TAMPA, Fla. — After grieving the death of some close friends, one man set out to travel the world, try as much different food as possible and take his dog along for the ride.

Now he’s in Tampa with a simple message, if you want to live out your dream — just go for it.

He calls himself the "Traveling Food Dude," and while his blog and social media savvy may not ever make him rich Adam Vosding says that’s not the point.

"Really the whole goal that I have is to showcase the journey," Vosding says.

A journey that’s taken him from Ottawa to Germany’s Oktoberfest, Russia to Tokyo, China to Singapore and back here to Tampa where he’s spent most of his life.

"We've been to 11 NHL arenas and 6 MLB stadiums and 3 college football games too!"

Along for the ride is his dog Holland helping Adam ‘eat’ his way across the world.

"She's been a great companion for me, I got her from the humane society four years ago."

From Tampa's humane society and Holland has as special section on his website. She’s just as friendly as him, maybe too friendly.

"She does make friends with the opposing teams!"

So many stories along the way, Holland’s been more than a great pup. She and Adam won a $5,000 grant for the Tampa Bay Humane Society and now they’re in the running for a $25,000 grant.
