TAMPA, Fla. -- Gasprilla is a few months away but tickets are officially on sale for Tampa's biggest event of the year.
The 2021 Children's Gasparilla kicks off Saturday, January 23, 2021.
In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, organizers have announced some tweaks, including a "socially-distanced reserved Invasion Brunch and parade seating." Seating will be grouped by household, with a minimum of one row and one seat between each group. Seating will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis, according to organizers.
"While large gatherings remain a dynamic and evolving situation, Gasparilla continues to work with city officials and public health authorities on event modifications and contingencies to ensure that Tampa's signature community event safely occurs in 2021," organizers said in a press release.
The Gasparilla Invasion Bruch kicks off Saturday, January 30, 2021. Shorly after brunch, the Gasparilla Parade of Pirates starts at around 2 p.m.
