TAMPA, Fla. -- Want an old-school Donkey Kong game delivered to your home?
Tampa’s Lowry Parcade can make those dreams come true.
“It’s a blast of nostalgia that will hopefully get you in a better mind and offer some stress relief,” says owner Robert Leonard.
When the coronavirus pandemic forced Leonard to close his arcade-bar hybrid, he pivoted to safe clean game delivery.
“We delivered 14 games in the past week,” he says.
Dozens of old-school video games and pinball machines are available for weekly or monthly rentals. They’re cleaned with bleach spray, and crews wear masks and gloves when dropping them off.
Lowry Parcade is also offering curbside delivery of their beer growlers, and will take part in a Tampa Bay Beer Week fundraiser this Saturday.
