A Tampa man was arrested after police say he was peering into the windows of an Ybor City home.
On Monday TPD conducted surveillance in the 3500 block of E. 8th Ave, continuing efforts to identify a man who had been seen on the property looking into the windows on several occasions over the past two weeks.
Police found a suspect, later identified as Danzel Crumbley, walking into a dark alley near the property. Officers spotted him hiding behind a tree holding onto the chain link fence of the victim's property.
He was taken into custody and found to have a couple of failure to appear warrants out of Hillsborough County.
Detectives say Crumbley's distinctive tattoos matched surveillance footage from the previous loitering and prowling calls.
He gave a full confession of the times he peered into the windows and was charged with five counts of loitering and prowling as well as two counts of attempted burglary.
