TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa General Hospital is asking for help sending gifts to the hospital for Christmas in July.

Every summer, Santa usually brings toys to kids in the hospital during their "Christmas in July" event, but due to COVID-19, he can't this year.

With COVID-19 safety measures put in place, children are being isolated in their rooms and are unable to play together or share toys. The toy closet is now nearly empty.

The Children's Medical Center is asking anyone who can help to send gifts to the hospital through Amazon.
