TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa police have arrested the man they say shot someone in broad daylight outside of a grocery store on Oct. 12.
Police say the suspect, a 17-year-old, shot an 18-year-old around 3:10 p.m. outside of the Fat Boy Grocery Store on East Osborne Avenue.
The suspect pulled out a gun as he walked passed the victim and entered the store, police say. The man turned around, exited the store and suddenly shot the victim twice.

The suspect and a young boy who was with him ran from the store. Police say the victim was taken to the hospital with possible life-threatening injuries.
The suspect turned himself in at 3 p.m. Monday. The victim is still in the hospital recovering.
