TAMPA, Fla. -- A man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Tampa late Saturday night.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a call of a crash near the I-275 south exit ramp to Hillsborough Avenue a little before 10 p.m. Upon arrival, state troopers found a Jeep SUV overturned and blocking the exit ramp.
The driver of the Jeep, 51-year-old Jason Brubaker, was pronounced dead at the scene. FHP did not say if anyone else was inside the Jeep.
FHP says they do not know how Brubaker lost control of the Jeep in the first place.
