HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — Hillsborough has been giving out free face-coverings earlier this week but the county is warning residents that these face-coverings are going fast.

The giveaway, initially distributed across 10 libraries, may have run out so the county is encouraging folks to check the library's website to see if the face-coverings are still available.

The county asks that residents also call or text the library when arriving to minimize contact. Signs with phone numbers will be posted at each site. A staff member will bring the masks to your vehicle, there is no appointment required.

RECOMMENDED: Where are masks mandatory to wear in the Tampa Bay area?

The masks will be available at the following locations from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
