Sumner told authorities he used an application on his cellphone to watch, listen to and record a live feed from the camera.
According to the documents, when Sumner would visit the home, he would plug his phone into the USB portion of the camera to 'charge it.' A search of his cellphone revealed hundreds of videos from inside the home.
While serving the search warrant, authorities also found numerous child pornography images in Sumners home. The pictures depicted children under the age of 11 and authorities say the children were known to him.
The victim found the camera on March 5, plugged into a wall outlet in her living room. She told authorities it was in a location where she had either changed her clothes, walked in front of it in the nude or walked past it in various stages of being undressed, according to the documents.
She contacted her cable/internet provider and found that the camera was linked to her WIFI without her knowledge or consent.
Sumner's access to the home included the WIFI password, alarm system code, garage door code and the front gate code, according to the documents.
Sumner was arrested on Tuesday for interception of wire, oral or electronic communications. He was also arrested on 24 counts of possession child pornography, 24 counts of manufacturing child pornography, one count of lewd and lascivious molestation force or enticing, one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition and one count of capital sexual battery.
