HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office found and arrested an armed and dangerous man they had been searching for.

Robert Hubbard, 40, threatened people at a pub on N Dale Mabry with a gun on October 8. Afterward, deputies say he ran away from the scene and crashed his car. Deputies say he was already wanted on charges for violating probation, using an altered ID, fraudulent use of a credit card, grand theft and dealing in stolen property.

Deputies say they located Hubbard around 7 p.m. on Thursday after receiving a tip he was hiding in a home. A K-9 located him hiding inside a bedroom closet. He was removed and treated for a self-inflicted neck injury at St. Josephs' Hospital.
