TAMPA, Fla. — Police are investigating a serious crash that sent one person to the hospital with life-threatening injuries in Tampa Wednesday morning.
The Tampa Police Department said the crash happened at the intersection of East Hillsborough Avenue and North 30th Street at 5:00 a.m.
The driver of one of the vehicles involved had to be extricated and transported to the hospital for life-threatening injuries.
Police closed Hillsborough Ave. as they investigated the crash. All lanes have since reopened.
