HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating and identifying gas station robbery suspects.
Deputies said, shortly after 2 a.m., three black males, who acted as if they were shopping, rushed the counter of the Circle K on W Bearss Ave. and demanded the clerk put single pack cigarettes inside a clear plastic bag.
While investigating the robbery, deputies said they received a call about a similar incident at the Circle K on Ehrlich Rd.
In the second robbery, deputies said three male suspects stole 30 cartons of cigarettes before fleeing in a black SUV.
At this time, it is unknown if the robberies are connected.
