RIVERVIEW, Fla. — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office made an arrest on the double shooting in Riverview Monday morning.
Jordan Silver, 20, is facing premeditated murder with a firearm and murder with a firearm charges.
Deputies said Silver intentionally shot and killed a woman with a handgun on the 1300 block of Clement Pride Blvd around 4 a.m. in Riverview. Silver was filming a music video with several others at the time.
Silver's actions were unprovoked, witnesses say.
Before he left the area, he also shot a man who was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
"Senseless acts of violence will not be tolerated in Hillsborough County," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "I commend our detectives for the thorough investigation that helped us locate the person responsible for this double shooting in less than 24 hours. As we continue working to learn what led up to this tragedy, we will make sure that the person responsible faces the consequences for his actions."
Silver's motives for the shooting are unknown at this time.
