Woman arrested in Ruskin double homicide, deputies search for person of interest

Hillsborough County deputies have arrested a woman accused of murdering two people inside a Ruskin home on January 24. 

According to deputies, they responded to 2611 14th Ave SE, at approximately 11 a.m., on January 24 after receiving a report that there were two deceased individuals inside the residence.

When deputies arrived, they entered the residence and found 33-year-old Juanita Solorzano and 24-year-old Alexis Martinez dead inside. The Medical Examiner's office determined both died of gun shot wounds.  

On Monday, 42-year-old Samona Louise Ramey, of Wimauma, was arrested, without incident and booked into the Orient Road Jail without bond. She is facing two counts of First Degree Felony Murder with Firearm-Discharge.

Detectives said they are still searching for an unidentified man, who was captured on surveillance video, that may have information regarding the double homicide.
