Hillsborough County Sheriffs' Office is looking for 2 suspects who attempted to rob two different Family Dollar stores.

On Feb. 4 at about 9:41 p.m., two men entered the Family Dollar at 7511 N. 56th St. and demanded money from the clerk.

One of the men was armed with a silver handgun, which appeared to have a laser sight.

The suspects left on foot but are suspected to have had a vehicle nearby.

About eight minutes later, the suspects traveled to a different Family Dollar at 4978 E. Busch Blvd. and attempted another robbery.

Both robberies were unsuccessful and the suspects did not receive any money.

They are both described as black males, 17-24 years of age, thin/medium build, 5'7".

One was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, red knit cap, black pants, black gloves and brown Timberland style work boots.

The other was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black shirt around his mouth and nose, sunglasses, black pants and black boots.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers.
