HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — Two people were killed after a three-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.
Florida Highway Patrol said one vehicle was in the southbound inside lane of I-275 was traveling northbound. Traveling in the wrong direction, that vehicle then collided head-on with another.
From the debris of the crash, a third vehicle became involved.
The vehicle traveling the wrong way rotated and stopped on the median wall of I-275.
The drivers of the head-on crash were both killed.
FHP said impairment is suspected.
