HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — One person is dead after a shooting at night club early Sunday morning.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said just after 3 a.m., deputies responded to a shooting at Aqua Lounge on 4203 Waters Ave. West.
Officials said an altercation took place in the parking lot as people were leaving. An individual displayed a firearm.
Security guards intervened at some point and one of those guards fired their weapon.
The victim was shot in the upper body and was transported to St. Joe's Main where he later died.

At this time, there are no arrested. Deputies are speaking with witnesses and the security guard involved is cooperating.
