BRANDON, Fla. — One person is dead and two others are injured after a shooting in Brandon Saturday night.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said just before 9:30 p.m., deputies were called to a home on the 4000 block of Forecast Drive for a report of a possible shooting.

When deputies arrived, they found two victims with gunshot wounds. They were both transported to the hospital for treatment.

A third victim was also located at the home. The victim was found dead from a gunshot wound.

According to deputies, the man who was found dead appears to be the original shooter at this time.

One of the victims who was injured shot the man during the incident.

All of the people involved do know each other. The cause of the shooting, however, is unknown at this time, detectives said.

"While we do not believe this shooting was a random act of violence and there is no threat to the public, we are conducting a thorough investigation to determine what led up to this incident," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "Anyone with information is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200."
