PLANT CITY, Fla. -- Detectives with the Plant City Police Department have obtained an arrest warrant for an 'armed and dangerous' suspect wanted for attempted first degree murder and convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
Police say on November 1, 2017 at approximately 12:20 a.m., the victim and suspect met at 302 North Thomas Street in Plant City to negotiate the purchase of ammunition.
During the encounter, the suspect, Zakari Pafilm Sherrife Marshall, shot the victim multiple times in the upper body, then fled the area.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay say that Marshall shot the victim during a dispute over the sale. They say that Marshall and the victim met days earlier through a mutual acquaintance.
Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Marshall for Attempted 1st Degree Murder and Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the location and arrest of Marshall.
