HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. -- Investigators have identified the man charged with the suspicious death of a woman in Brooksville.
Joshua Carroll, 32, has been charged with second degree homicide in connection to the death of a woman whose body was found early Wednesday morning in what appears to be an abandoned RV park at the end of Old Stage Coach Road near the Hernando County Landfill.
A lone pull behind trailer and jeep were on a section of the property where deputies found the body of the woman.
The victim knew Carroll and died as a result of homicidal violence, according to investigators.
At this time, the victim's identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
Carroll has been arrested and is being detained on a no bond status at the Hernando County Detention Center.
