SPRING HILL, Fla. — The suspect in a Hernando County shooting turned himself into authorities on Saturday, and now faces charges for attempted murder.

Roberto Rivera-Santiago, 44, had an active warrant out for his arrest after the shooting. He was taken to the Hernando County Detention Center.

Authorities were called to Oak Hill Hospital on Thursday because a shooting victim had been dropped off at the emergency room. The man, a 29-year-old black male, had multiple gunshot wounds. He is still in the hospital at this time, but his condition is unknown.

Deputies were able to determine the shooting happened at the Mermaids Lounge in Spring Hill.
