A 23-year-old Inverness man deputies say referred to himself as "Daddy," is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old, an arrest report states.
Robert Lombardo, of 1140 S. Highlands Avenue, is facing lewd and lascivious molestation and lewd and lascivious battery charges.
According to an arrest affidavit, the teen was known to Lombardo. Deputies say he lived with the girl's family from October to December 2015 but was thrown out of the house after their teen's parents saw an inappropriate relationship developing and Lombardo asked to date their daughter.
After moving out, deputies say Lombardo maintained a relationship with the teen by texting. Deputies say the teen's parents found texts from Lombardo indicating he was plotting to come over and sleep in the girl's bed after he parents fell asleep.
Lombardo referred to himself several times as "Daddy" during the text conversations and asked the teen to send pictures of herself to him, deputies say.
Deputies have copies of the messages in evidence and also confiscated the teen's cell phone and computer.
An arrest affidavit states the teen's parents confronted her about the relationship after finding a box of condoms. According to deputies, the teen admitted to having sexual intercourse with Lombardo.
The teen also admitted to exchanging nude photographs with Lombardo, deputies noted.
Lombardo agreed to speak with deputies.
He advised that he grew feelings for the victim while he was living at her parent's residence and added that the would like the opportunity to have a relationship with her when she is of age, an arrest affidavit states.
Lombardo was arrested and is being held on $20,000 bond.
